We visited the Kenyérlelke Festival in Veszprém. I went to university there, so I was nostalgic about the town, the Old Town is undeniably still the most beautiful part of the city.
I have to be honest, I haven't dared to compete this year, but I'd like to do it next year. That's my goal for next year. I have a lot of training to do before then, but I will do my best to do my best.
I actually went out because of Szabadfi Szabolcs (aka: Szabi the Baker), because he is my role model, his videos are the reason I started to sourdough education and the first baking of bread. Since then, the leavening became a hobby and I do "everything" with sourdough now. I also like to experiment, add more extreme spices to my baking and achieve special flavours.
We tasted some of Sabi's baked goods and everything tasted so special and delicious, you can feel the quality of the ingredients and the heart and soul that goes into the baking.
I would love to bake such delicacies for my family at home, so I will keep improving and practicing and practicing.
