Ruby chocolate liqueur
A simple basic recipe for chocolate liqueur, easy to make with any chocolate.
Ingredients
- 4 dl Water filtered
- 1 e sugar
- 2 package vanilla sugar
- 350 g chocolate pastille
- 4 dl meringue
- 4 dl white rum
Instructions
- First measure out 4 dl of filtered water.
- Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and I used vanilla sugar for extra flavour.
- When the sugar has melted, add 350 g of chocolate pastille and stir on low speed until it has melted.
- Then you can add the 4 dl of whipping cream to make the liqueur creamy.
- At the end, remove from the heat and leave to cool. Then add 4 dl white rum or vodka, we prefer rum.
- Pour into jars and when it is completely cold, put it in the fridge, leave it to age for 1-2 days in the fridge and you can eat it. It doesn't hurt if you shake it every day, but make sure you shake it before you eat it. Store it in the fridge and eat it within 2 weeks so it doesn't spoil.
